AGM Wednesday 15th Oct – Charity selection!
Hi all,
So you have decided your final 5 charities that you want to hear from on Wednesday at 7:30pm promptly in JHL1 at the AGM. They are as follows:
- Anam Cara
- Barretstown
- Don Bosco Care
- Irish Guide Dogs for the for the blind (Assistance dog Programme)
- Lauralynn
The final vote will take place at the AGM so it is vital that you do turn up and have your voice heard regarding what charity will become the focus of the Galway Cycle 2015.
Each charity will give a 5 minute presentation and members are welcome to ask questions after each presentation. We will then vote by secret ballot (PR selection system 1-5) to select the beneficiary charity for the Maynooth Students for Charity, Galway Cycle 2015.
The committee members for 2014 will also be decided upon and we will be taking suggestions for future fundraisers.
If you would like to get involved with the committee this year and think you can lend a hand to the enthusiastic team behind all the fun, please do come along and make yourself known! It’s a great experience and I would encourage you to get involved!
